Feet work hard for you. Learn how to take better care of them, and how to create a beautiful product range especially suited to this area. We look at specific ingredients for various foot problems and help you to formulate products like soaks, powders and creams etc. to heal and soothe this much neglected area. Fee: $75 inclusive.
Cleansers, Scrubs, Masks and Toners

In this workshop you will learn to make a variety of products, depending on your skin type, from a selection of natural ingredients, herbs, oils, clays and more to use for individual skin problems and skin types. You will create this range to take home. Fee: $128 inclusive
Planting a medicinal and culinary herb garden
Sunday April 13, 2008 10:30am – 4:30pm
For those wishing to create a herb garden for home and family use, but don’t know where to start. We look at soil requirements, plant positioning, herbs in pots and the individual needs of each herb. We cover the most significant medicinal herbs to grow, how to grow and how and why to use them. We discuss the best culinary herbs for enhancing your culinary skills – how to dry, store and use them. Take home cuttings and seedlings from the herb garden. Fee $75 inclusive.
Luscious Body Butters and Lotions

Learn how easy it is to make gorgeous, superior body butters and lotions with all natural ingredients that nourish, revitalise and moisturise skin. A Natural Pregnancy
Wednesday April 23, 2008 7:00pm – 9:30pm and Thursday April 24, 2008 7:00pm – 9:30pm
This workshop is for those planning a pregnancy, or for women already pregnant and wishing to have a healthy pregnancy and childbirth. Learn about good nutrition, diet, safe herbs, oils and products to ensure a well balanced and healthy pregnancy. During this class, we make products to ease stretch marks, cracked nipples and for an easier labour, and make baby bottom balms. A two day class: Wednesday 23rd April and Thursday 24th April from 7:00-9:30pm. Fee $120 inclusive.
Starting A Herbal Body and Skincare Business

Specialised Skincare Product Day

In this workshop we learn to make specialised products for certain conditions. Anti-wrinkle eye balm, cellulite products and skin products for extremely sensitive skin types. We make beautiful products for these problems, utilising herbs, oils, gels etc., for these troubled areas and learn how to create ingredients with the highest anti-oxidant and skin soothing and healing properties. Clean and revitalise your skin from the deepest level. Learn how to treat acne, blackheads, open pores and many other common skin problems, using special herbal and natural ingredients created by you during this class. Fee $65 inclusive.
Shampoo and Conditioners

In this workshop we use natural plant bases combined with herbal extracts, hydrosols, cold pressed oils and pure essential oils to create superb, revitalising and natural shampoo and conditioners for the whole family. Fee: $55 inclusive.
Making Gels and Serums

In this workshop you will learn how to turn natural powders and gums into amazing gels and serums, that soothe, heal and rejuvenate the skin. Eye and skin gels can be created to firm and tone lines and wrinkles and to nourish and heal without using heavy and greasy ingredients. Fee: $70 inclusive
Emulsification

In this workshop you will learn how to use natural emulsifying waxes to produce your own cream and lotion bases. This is often the area that scares most students – however, if you are creating your own skincare products – or wishing to start your own business – this workshop is essential, as you will save heaps of money by making your own base creams etc. Fee: $65 inclusive

Natural Herbal Cleaning Products

During this intensive workshop, you will discover how easy it is to throw out your toxic cleaning household bathroom and laundry products. Take home your own complete range of products and learn how simple and easy they are to create from natural ingredients. A two day class: Saturday 6th of September and Saturday 20th of September from 10:30-4:30pm. Fee: $245 inclusive.
Raising Children and Babies Naturally
Sunday September 7th 2008 – 10:30-4:30pm
A valuable workshop, covering childhood ailments, diseases and common health problems encountered in early life. We look at herbs, oils and herbal products, we may use to improve childhood health problems, utilising safe, simple, natural ingredients derived from nature. Strengthening your child’s immune system early in life is the single most important gift you may give them in today’s toxic world. Making Herbal Ointments, Salves and Chest Rubs
Thursday September 25th 2008 7:00pm – 9:30pm
During this workshop, we show you how simple it is to make your own healing ointments, salves and chest rubs from beeswax, oils and pure essential oils. This is an excellent follow-on class from No. 26 as many of these oils produced are utilised into products in this workshop. Growing your own food and medicine
Saturday October 11th 2008 and Saturday October 25th 10:30-4:30pm
During this two day workshop, we show you just how easy it is to provide for yourself and your family from what you may grow in your own backyard. You will learn to grow from seed, cuttings, division, etc. How to dry and prepare your harvest and how to make ointments, oils, cough mixtures and other common remedies from your own produce. Fee $240 inclusive.
Flower Essences

A serene, peaceful and meditative day creating your own personalized flower essences, which are most effective to help us deal with many diverse emotional and childhood based issues. Edible Flowers and Weeds
Saturday November 1st 2008 10:30-1:00pm
We tour the herb garden, examining what is safe, valuable and good to eat from a huge array of herbs, weeds and flowers. Learn to create salads and meals for free, utilising nature’s abundance. We will also discuss the medicinal uses of these plants. Take home some cuttings and seedlings to get you started in your own garden. Fee $45 inclusive.
Herbal Medicine for Beginners
Sunday November 2nd 2008 10:30-1:00pm
An introductory course covering propagation, planting, harvesting, usage and application of medicinal herbs, their properties and effects on the body, along with the best means of extracting these properties. Learn how to make tinctures, ointments and capsules – why we use them and for which conditions each is most suited. Fee $110 inclusive.
Create your Own Herbal first Aid Kit
Sunday November 16th 2008 10:30-1:00pm
During this informative workshop, you will make a family first aid kit from herbs that you may grow in your own garden, or from dried herbs. We make antiseptic washes, wound crèmes, tinctures, oils and ointments and capsules suitable for pain and injuries, as well as for treating everyday health problems. We discuss other essential additives you may with to add to your first aid kit, and look at the reasons why certain herbs are most important in your first aid kit. Fee $145 inclusive.
