Sports Balm

This is a strong balm that has a cooling and pain relieving effect on sprains, bruising and general sports related injuries. It may also be helpful for other pain related conditions, when used topically. Herbal Baby Balm

¼ cup Beeswax ¼ cup Jojoba oil ½ cup Calendula oil ¼ cup Plantain infused oil 3 tsp Castor oil 8 drops Chamomile essential oil Using a double boiler combine all ingredients and melt gently until beeswax is melted and oils are well mixed. Remove from heat, pour into a hot heatproof jug, add chamomile essential oil and pour into prepared pots. This makes several good sized pots that soothes and heals dry or damaged skin.

Coconut Lip Balm

1 part aloe vera butter 1 part beeswax 1 part coconut oil (liquid) 10 drops coconut natural flavour Powdered stevia (to taste) In the top of a double boiler, gently heat aloe vera butter, beeswax and coconut oil until melted and well combined. Remove from heat, allow to cool, but not thicken – stir in enough stevia powder to taste (remember stevia is 300 times sweeter than sugar – 1 pinch= 1 tsp of sugar). Vegan Lip Balm

5-6gm Macadamia Wax 20gm Cocoa Butter 10ml Jojoba Oil 25ml Castor Oil (not supermarket type, only cosmetic grade) 120ml Calendula Oil Flavour of choice or essential oil. Gently heat all ingredients, except flavour or essential oil in a double boiler until melted and well combined. Pour into hot, clean jug, then into tubes or pots then add flavour or essential oil.
